He was the good, the bad, and the scary. Pressing for perfection in an imperfectly twisted individual, will send him into a spiraling whirlwind of impersonal turbulence. We have tried to fix this one kind of man time and time again, the same mistake was made over and over again. He was to be left alone, but we couldn’t seem to get our scheming off of him. He was the perfectly broken puzzle piece every girl longs to complete. Over and over again, we told ourselves, we were the first one to try and seriously fix him. Each time, it got harder and harder. He was getting more and more abusive towards himself. He was his own toxic relationship, deciding between the morals that have been chasing him and will chase him to his grave and the pressing matters of the world that dawn on people in a chaotic way, everyday. Wishing the world would complete itself before the end of his road. This thought followed him deeply through his days and his days to come. He would rather be left broken than fixed, in his conformity this was the easier route to take.
This was the reflection I had based on the trailer I just saw for the “Fifty Shades Darker” trailer (the “Fifty Shades Of Grey” series). I have not read any of the books and I have not watched any of the movies. Nor do I have the desire to. Instead this trailer reminded me of a book I once read about a similiar story, except it was about a broken girl.
“Redeeming Love” by Francine Rivers. A book I started to read and never finished. An unfinished read.
Francine Rivers, took me from child to young lady, at the tender age of twelve or thirteen. It might have been a little to advanced for me at that age even though it´s a christian book and a now PG13 movie. The foundation of this story has a profound message to be learned by all young ladies. in a matter of a few months while reading her book “Redeeming Love”. A story that brought to life the idea that true love indeed exists and that it is derived from godly ways. Every woman’s nature is to figure out what that word truly means to them. Something that not everyone will be able to do. However, with a little guidance and a little touch of faith in someone, the idea and reality of the nature of love may truly come to life. We have seen it time and time again, through the stories we have been told over the years. That even while we live our lives forgetting the most simplest things, somehow we always seem to remember all the stories that we read or have been told. If the majority of women are good at telling stories; then, not to sound sexist or anything, but that should tell you something serious. That, men are greater composers and women are better orchestral musicians being able to concentrate on most matters at hand. With memory like that, no wonder men always live so confused with our nature.
The whirlwind battle that most men like Christian Grey face is that they can never truly understand or begin to comprehend the true nature of a woman. With life and its fortuitous change of times, It has brought them to the point of kneeling and begging at our feet for our forgiveness, and request for our help. Hence when a man asks for our hand in marriage. He is saying two things, one that he apologizes for doubting that you were the one and two, to ask you for help in living his life. He will say please, because clearly he didn’t know what he is doing most of his time. So that there my readers, is the reason I took my time to write my review and reflection on the new movie coming out February 14th (Valentine’s Day) in two thousand and seventeen. This movie will definitely start a domino effect for all woman, I feel it coming soon!
